One year in Australia: Sydney Water bottle seller.
I loved Sydney, it made a fantastic break to ultra sterile Perth. Kind of like what London could be like if everyone smiled more! Not much beats coffee the amazing Opera House either, another tick on my very extensive travel bucket list.
Eager to check out a new city, I did my standard practice of avoiding all public transport until I had essentially ‘mapped’ an entire Sydney ‘A-to-Z’. Tired and thirsty I stopped to buy a bottle of water from this gentlemen who asked “Where are you from?” “England” I reply, “Many Nations here, many nations” . He was the first person I spoke to in the city, completely summing up how welcoming the place was.
