Abstract Blue and Green. Fine Art Prints

Image created using a chemical process in a photographic darkroom on fiber based photographic print paper. Scan from original print and presented as a series of exclusive prints (Philip Hill/Phil Hill)

Abstract in prints.

After some time in the darkroom (yes, I have been in a darkroom!) experimenting with camer-less photography, what started out as a bit of fun and an antidote to the day-to-day pressures of being a commercial shooter led to the creation of a series of blue and green abstract images on sheets of photographic fiber based paper. It is an over developing process and pre treatment of the paper that has created the effect, quite ethereal, shimmering metallic, when viewed up close.

Although they represent a complete departure from the work I normally produce, I decided to create digital scans of the originals and present them as a series of exclusive prints that can be purchased directly from my website. They are also available on through The Printspace Hub.
