Using my point and shoot started out as habitual fun. Where I would ensure that I had a film camera everywhere I went. My intention was to look, a form of muscle memory, photographing anything of interest, even if I did not develop the film. Or, if I did, It was stored away with no scans or consideration to whether it was worthy of sharing. After some time,I have started to look back at the images I have shot. I am enjoying a new objectivity I have with my own work that I have not ever had previously. Looking through an archive of negatives from the past 5 years has become a lesson in editing and flow. In the ‘New Topographic’ Style.
